A collection of unexpected materials set in borosilicate glass - 

broken shards of glazed stoneware ceramic, river stones, seashells. 

 

This was an exploration in combining materials and finding new ways of holding objects - testing the limits of different objects and processes, and prodding the boundaries between different parts of the craft world.
